Originally built as an American field hospital in 1943, Northwick Park, where Watsonian Squire is located, has a fascinating history.
On 1st June 1944 the camp became an American Red Cross Unit POW hospital for German POW's and in 1947-8 Northwick Park camp became home to many displaced Polish families who lived there until the 1960's.
Directions - From Moreton-in-Marsh, take the A44 North (towards Evesham). Go through Bourton-on-the-Hill and at the top of the hill turn right (signed to Blockley). Follow this road until you see a sign to Northwick Business Park (left). Take this road & Northwick Business Park is the second turn on the left.
