Watsonian have developed a sidecar fitting kit for the popular new Royal Enfield Interceptor twin.
Designed and built in Watsonian’s Cotswold factory, the kit is a sub-frame, that bolts to existing mounting points on either side of the bike, providing sturdy and secure locations for the four arms that attach the sidecar.
Made from tubular steel that is welded for strength, the kit is powder-coated for a long-lasting finish and sells for £475 including VAT.
It can be used to attach any of the eight sidecars currently produced by Watsonian and is shown fitted to a Grand Prix, with colour-matched paintwork. This outfit will on on display on Watsonian’s stand at Motorcycle Live from 16th-24th November.
Watsonian can supply complete outfits – prices for a an Interceptor and Grand Prix in standard colours start at £12,500.
Also new, and being shown for the first time at Motorcycle Live, is a fitting kit for the Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Trials. Ideal for the smaller, lighter chairs from Watsonian, the International ‘trials’ sidecar suits the bike’s off-road style particularly well. The model at the show features a chassis colour-matched to the bike’s green frame and ‘chrome’ wrap on the side panels to complement the motorcycle tank.
Trials fitting kits cost £375 and Watsonian can supply a complete outfit from £9,000.
