Designed to suit contemporary motorcycles, the Flight is a single seat sports sidecar, with clean modern lines, 15” alloy wheel and advanced suspension.
Measuring 2000 mm long by 980 mm wide, its body shell is moulded from glass fibre, with a durable and low-maintenance polished gelcoat finish.
There is plenty of room for the passenger, who sits on a fully upholstered seat, shielded by a wide acrylic screen, in the 590 mm wide cockpit. There is a generous 1350 mm of legroom and the seat tilts forward to reveal a large locker for luggage.
Watsonian developed a totally new platform chassis for the Flight, fabricated from fully welded steel that is powder coated for a long-lasting finish, riding on a lightweight 15” cast wheel. An innovative suspension system provides a smooth and stable ride. It consists of a hydraulic shock absorber, mounted on a transverse swinging arm and braced by a torsion bar, with rose joint linkage, to control movement.
The indicators, front marker and tail light are all maintenance-free LEDs, housed in a discreet slim metal tube, attached to the low-profile mudguard.
