Watsonian Sidecars have expanded their range of fitting kits to include an option for the new Royal Enfield 350 Meteor.
The British sidecar manufacturer has been in business since 1912 – nearly as long as Royal Enfield has been making motorcycles (1901) – and already produces fitting kits for their most popular models, including the Bullet, Himalayan and Interceptor.
Four steel arms attach the sidecar to the Meteor’s tubular steel frame, for a secure and stable set-up that will stand the test of time. The arms are powder-coated for durability and all clamps and bolts are heavy-duty items, specifically designed and manufactured for the job.
Watsonian’s lightweight Prescott sidecar (pictured) is ideal for smaller capacity motorcycles and scooters. It sits on a tubular steel chassis, with hydraulic suspension for a smooth ride, and features a fold-down screen mounted on a bespoke aluminum casting. There’s also a handy storage space behind the seat – it tilts forward for easy access.
Watsonian fitted a Meteor front wheel to the development outfit, and colour-matched the body, for a fully integrated appearance. Every sidecar is built to order, so customers can specifiy bespoke changes from standard to suit their tastes and/or requirements.
