Founded in 1937 by Alfonso Morini, the company that carries his name has a rich history on road and track. Not only a very fast rider, but also a good mechanic and a skilled designer, Alfonso was able to create winning racing motorcycles that were also reliable on the road, like the 250 Bialbero, ridden by Tarquinio Provini, which was the world’s fastest single-cylinder bike and the 125 Competizione, on which Umberto Masetti won the national title. This evolved into the 175, the standard model that rookie rider Giacomo Agostini chose as his first racing bike.

During the 1970s Moto Morini was best known for its 3 ½, driven by the V-Twin 72° longitudinal engine designed by Franco Lambertini, who created the potent 1200cc V-twin for the Bialbero 1200 CorsaCorta more than30 years later.

Today the factory has moved from Bologna to a new site, near Milan, but continues that tradition, with a new generation of adventure sport bikes with high specification parts and attractive styling, at affordable prices.
